I like to work both conventionally and digitally. One day as I painted, I noticed how interesting the paint tubes looked just spread around on my table. That intrigued me enough to "grab" my digital camera and start taking a series of pictures. Once I chose the picture I felt was most interesting compositionally and contrast-wise, I brought the picture into Painter 7, a software created for artists, that I use. Working the image for color, interesting surprises and juxtapositiion of shapes, the above result is what happened. I just love the way it turned out! Hope you do too. A piece created in this way is considered a multiple original. I've limited it to 100 prints. The inks used are archivally tested and guaranteed against fading for fifty years.
